Aerobics is a type of cardio-training, which combines different physical exercises and is performed to a musical accompaniment. It makes your strength, flexibility and coordination better. The frequent and low on intensity load of the muscles shapes the body and develops the endurance of your cardiovascular system. Effective especially for the legs and the lower body, aerobics strengthens the torso and helps with weight loss.
Fun fact: The creator of Aerobics is Dr. Kenneth H. Cooper, who in 1960 introduces a class, which strengthens the heart and lungs and at the same time makes the first step in the “aerobic” (cardio) exercises in the USA. The title of his book is “Aerobics”, which consequently gives the name to the class.
